Love Always Cakes — Policies & Procedures

(By placing an order, the customer agrees to all terms below.)

Ordering

All cake orders are handled through email or Facebook Messenger at LoveAlwaysCakes@yahoo.com.
Because I’m often baking or spending time with family, I’m unable to take phone calls.
Messages are checked and answered during available hours throughout the day.

Availability

Orders are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Please inquire early — especially during holidays and wedding season — to secure your date.
A quote does not guarantee availability until your retainer fee is paid.

Cake Pricing

All cakes are custom designed and priced individually based on:

  • Flavor

  • Serving size

  • Design complexity

Minimum cake order: $200
Custom celebration cakes typically start around $250, depending on design.
Quotes are provided once full details are discussed.

Wedding Cake Tastings

Tastings are available for wedding clients only.

Wedding Cake Tasting Box – $45
Includes six cupcakes in up to three flavors of your choice.
The tasting box fee is credited toward your final wedding cake balance if you decide to book within 14 days of your tasting.

Additional flavor options or upgrades may be available upon request for an added fee.

Tastings must be scheduled in advance, and availability is limited.

Retainer Fee & Booking

To reserve your date, a 25% non-refundable retainer fee is required.
No dates are held without payment.
Retainers can be paid via Cash App, Zelle, or in person.
The remaining balance is due no later than the event date (preferably one week prior).

Unpaid balances will result in cancellation of the order and forfeiture of the retainer.

Refunds

All payments and retainers are non-refundable, for any reason.
Every order is custom-made, and materials are purchased in advance.

Delivery & Pick-Up

  • Delivery:

    • Local (within 10 miles): $25–$40

    • Extended area (up to 25 miles): $50–$75

    • Full event setup (stand, table design, or staging): Starts at $100

    • You may also arrange to meet at a mutual location for no charge.

  • Pick-Up:

    • Free from my location.

    • Once picked up, all responsibility transfers to the client.

    • Please transport cakes on a flat, cool surface and drive carefully.

Damages

I am not liable for any damage that occurs after pickup or delivery.
Examples include:

  • Cake dropped or mishandled during transport

  • Damage from children, pets, or improper storage

  • Cake exposed to heat, sunlight, or humidity

Serving Sizes

Cakes are designed to serve the number of guests you specify.

  • Wedding slice: 1x2x4

  • Event slice: 2x3x4

If you cut larger slices and run short, additional cake will not be provided.

Food Allergies

All cakes are made in a kitchen that uses nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten.
I do not accept orders with allergy restrictions.
Please advise your guests of these ingredients and risks.

Weather Care (Arizona Specific)

Arizona heat can cause cakes to melt if left outdoors too long.
Monsoon humidity can also affect buttercream and fondant.
To keep your cake in perfect condition:

  • Store indoors in a cool, air-conditioned space

  • Avoid direct sunlight

  • Refrigerate if cake will sit for more than 2 hours before serving

Once delivered or picked up, the client assumes all responsibility for proper storage.

Communication Hours

To maintain balance and quality service, communication is limited to business hours only:
Tuesday–Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 2 PM
Sunday–Monday: Closed

Messages received after hours will be answered the next business day.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash App

  • Zelle

  • In person (cash)

  • Square

Invoices can be sent for your records upon request.

Final Note

Every cake is baked with love, excellence, and creativity.
